We are a sit-down cafe that blurs the line between cozy vibes and fine dining, offering both a relaxing place to drink with friends as well as an elegant place to enjoy a quiet dinner with a special someone.

Airi Ban
Songstress/Co-owner

Although born in Ishgard, Airi was raised in Ul'Dah as a songstress from a young age. She despised playing music, as it was forced upon her, so she tried adventuring. Quickly becoming one of the most successful and renowned users of the Dark Arts, she used her new found talents to help friends and others around her. One day on the battlefield, she decided to play a song on her harp to soothe a hurt comrade. Seeing how much this had aided her friend, she took back to music as a side profession, and has cycled through various venues playing music for patrons and passersby, now settling down with Shaxx to run Polaris.

Below are rules and guidelines to ensure that everyone, guests and staff, feel safe, respected, and so that they can enjoy immersive and enjoyable RP.

Staff have the final say in all of these rules. The most important rule is common sense!

  • No NSFW topics or ERP at all, IC or OOC.

  • Please keep PDA to reasonable levels. A gentle kiss to a love is okay, cuddling and making out is not.

  • Please dismiss minions unless they have an IC purpose.

  • Please be respectful to staff and guests OOC, and if there is an IC reason to not be respectful, please get the consent of the other party beforehand.

  • Avoid sensitive discussion topics, especially OOC ones.

  • If someone is causing trouble or being a nuisance, please do not confront them yourself. Let the staff know, and they will handle it.

  • No hate speech/bigotry at all.

STAFF

Warlord Shaxx
Chef/Owner

Born in Thavnair and raised under the mentorship and tutelage of Guildmaster Lyngsath, Shaxx has been working in the kitchen for nearly as long as he can remember. From washing dishes to peeling popotoes to serving guests, he learned every aspect of the culinary trade, and at the age of twenty three summers he officially became recognized as a Culinarian of the guild. Spending multiple years in Kugane to study the cuisine, Shaxx brings forth both classic Limsan dishes as well as exotic and foreign treats in his arsenal of culinary knowledge. Opening up the Polaris with Airi, Shaxx endeavors to bring superb service together with fine dining for an incredible experience.

Rosella Lin
Waitress

A student in Ishgard and an adventurer at heart, Rosella Lin decided to add yet another priority to her already busy life as a waitress at Polaris. Not that it bothers her any. In her free time, you'll usually find her skimming through another paragraph or two of one of her novels that feature legendary heroes and antiheroes alike.
